On June 5th we helped host a science and technology event in cooperation with Consulate General of Finland in Shanghai, Technology Academy Finland, TEDxShanghai in order to promote Finland´s one million euro Millennium Technology Price. The day included interesting and thought-provoking presentations and a panel discussion about clean-tech, urbanization and how to tackle the environmental challenges of growth with technological innovation.
The Millennium Technology Prize promotes technological innovations that improve the quality of people´s lives in a sustainable manner. The prize was established in 2004 and has been awarded to seven great innovators, all of whom have tackled the great challenges of mankind with their innovations.
